Q: How and when did you become interested in astrology?
A: I became interested in astrology as a child. I’ve always been an avid researcher and used to devour books about mythology ranging from Ancient Egyptian, to Sumerian, to the Greco-Roman cannon. I was so intrigued by the stories that I began to delve into their origins and how they are used to map out the stars in a similar way that religious stories are used as allegory to understand human existence.
Q: What is your favorite part about astrology?
A: My favorite part of astrology is how it’s absolutely a tool that can be used for self development. I love helping people read their charts because it often unlocks a lot of hidden doors that have been keeping parts of themselves fragmented. I absolutely believe it is a cathartic release to get a great reading and I truly love being of service.
Q: How long have you been an astrology reader?
A: I have been a reader for seven years and have studied astrology for twelve years.
Q: What differentiates you from other readers?
A: I have an ancestral spiritual background and come from a long line of Somali women who are gifted in this art. I also am a writer and have studied World literature, philosophy, theology, and anthropology. I draw from many different disciplines and histories to explain and break down a chart.
Q: What's an interesting fact about you?
A: I am trilingual I speak English, Arabic, and Somali.
Q: How can consumers better support BIPOC astrologers?
A: They can amplify and purchase our services.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: I offer several services available at my booking link. My favorite services are Astrological Coaching and Synastry Charts for Couples.
In Astrological Coaching I write out individual lesson plans based on the client’s chart for those who are interested in furthering their astrological knowledge. I utilize the client’s specific magnetism to walk them through this ancient science so that they may break old patterns and contracts, anticipate challenges and formulate new responses. This offering ultimately is a course in how to best utilize the energies present at all times to garner optimum desired results. It is $150/hr.
